The freelance economy is the future of work

Freelancers have always played a vital role in the workplace. But today, their contribution appears to be more appreciated than ever before. In an online article published by Biz community recently, the author says freelancers are no longer sketchy characters lurking on the outskirts of the workforce but a global force to be reckoned with. In the article, titled “Have you hugged your freelancer today”, Marie Rocher, argues that unemployed school-leavers seeking experience can penetrate what she calls “the Freelance Economy” since there aren’t enough permanent positions for employment.
